Today, I would like to share the fifth assignment to all of you. Our fifth assignment is we have to make something that can FLOAT on the water based on the colour wheel. Wow... It is my first big project in my university life.
First, we have to sketch out at least five ideas for our Floating assignment during the tutorial time. As we know, google is our best friend so we just have to google it. At first, we have the idea of making a ship floating in the lake, but ship is too normal so we change the ship into a house. After that, we add on the lantern around as the house will look alone without the lantern. I have the idea of putting the lantern around the house because when I was in secondary school, I have the experience of doing lantern since I am form3.
Lastly, Miss Lisa told us that it would be interesting to have lantern around the house so we no need the boat anymore. I feel really excited about this assignment as I have never try to put the lantern into the water.
After that, we faced many question on doing the house and the lantern.
1. What material are we going to use to built the house?
2. How to make the house float?
3. How many lanterns should we make?
4. How big should we make the house?
This is some of the questions that we faced when we doing this assignment.
I have sketch out the house and the lantern but it looks weird in some way so I decided to change the house into a Chinese style pavilion. So the final sketch is a Chinese style pavilion and a lantern around it.
I am well-prepared to built my little pavilion and lanterns.

After the sketch is done, the work is in process. First we have to do a small model of our pavilion and a real size lantern. It take me for about two days to make them out. After that, my room is like the "world war III" explode.

This is the final outcome of my little pavilion.
It is colored with 6 colors which are the 3 primary colours and 3 secondary colors.
Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, and Violet.
This is the final outcome of the lantern when it's light up. I hang it on the wall lamp in my room and take the picture looks like it is light up.
