I am back. After three weeks of holidays, I just started our second semester. Time flies, few months before, we are still a beginner of a university student. Now, I have already finished my semester one and now continuing semester two. In semester one, I have slowly discover my interest in art and design. From now on, I am slowly discovering my design kingdom. There will be more and more of my design upload on this blog. Stay tune everyone. Yeah.
In this semester, we have 2D dimensional design with Ms. Lisa. I am looking forward to start this subject as we have a lots of fun time in Principle of Design in the first semester. Today is the first class of 2D dimensional design. In today class, we are assigned to design our self-portrait as our first assignment within two hours. We are allowed to use trash object or we can draw our self-portrait by hand. We can design our self-portrait in 2D or in 3D form. I chose to draw in my sketch book.
This is my design for my self-portrait.
In my design, obversely is a grey cute kitten coming out from the box. The little kitten wearing a sweater that have a design of the Sarawak flag. It represent me as I am a Sarawakian and I live in Kuching. Kuching have the same pronunciation as ' kucing ' in malay as it means cat so I draw a kitten to represent me as a Sarawakian. The little kitten wearing a sweater because I have a very sensitive nose. Besides that, why the little kitten was come out from the box? The box was a package, the little kitten had been posted from Kuching to Kuala Lumpur. The little kitten represent me and I went study in Kuala Lumpur. I think this is the self-portrait that represent me.
